Lender Processing Services' SoftPro™ Division Wins Stevie® Award at the 2010 American Business Awards

June 22, 2010

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Lender Processing Services, Inc. (NYSE:LPS), a leading provider of integrated technology and services to the mortgage and real estate industries, today announced that its SoftPro™ division won a Stevie® Award for Product Development Department of the Year at The 2010 American Business Awards on June 21, 2010.

The awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, and were hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network and broadcast nationwide on radio by the Business TalkRadio Network.

Hank Keeping, Sales Manager at LPS SoftPro, accepted the Stevie saying "On behalf of LPS SoftPro's Product Development Team, I would like to thank the American Business Awards for this recognition. I congratulate our Product Development Team for their hard work and commitment to our customers. It is truly an honor to win this award among such distinguished finalists."

Stevie Awards were presented in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year. More than 2,700 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.

The Stevie win was especially meaningful for LPS SoftPro's Product Development Team which faced one of the most challenging periods in the history of the company. With new regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and only a year's notice, LPS SoftPro's Product Development Team had to ensure that their 13,000 existing customers had software compliant with the regulatory changes. In less than 11 months, the team went to market with HUD-compliant software for all three of SoftPro's software platforms. Not only did LPS SoftPro's Product Development Team release three major updates, but they also developed and released a brand new product called SoftPro 360, a web-based portal that allows SoftPro customers to order closing and title services within SoftPro.

Joyce Weiland, President of SoftPro, said of the Stevie win, "What a wonderful testament to our Product Development Team to be recognized for their dedication and perseverance over the past year." Weiland went on to say, "To release a new product in the same year as addressing massive regulatory changes that affected our entire industry was a daunting task. Winning the Stevie puts the spotlight on a very deserving group. Being named Finalist in seven categories reflects the commitment of our entire organization in supporting our customers through a difficult transition period."

More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the Finalists and Stevie Award winners.
