SoftPro® Honored With A Gold Stevie® Award For New Product Of The Year For Its User-Friendly And Innovative TRID Ready Software
September 22, 2015
Raleigh, NC - SoftPro® was presented with a Gold Stevie® Award in the "New Product of the Year" at The 13th Annual American Business Awards on Friday, September 11 in San Francisco, CA. This is SoftPro's second Gold Stevie award win for 2015, having won "Company of the Year" in July.
The American Business Awards are the nation's premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations - public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide-range of categories, including Tech Startup of the Year, Software Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.
SoftPro was nominated in the New Product of the Year category for its innovative TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) software solution. The first in its industry to develop and release TRID compliant software, SoftPro's efforts provided a complete solution for its nearly 15,000 user sites across the country months ahead of the imposed deadline. With a focus on a user-friendly design, SoftPro's inventive solution allowed its customers to have a product in hand well ahead of the deadline. The early implementation allowed SoftPro the opportunity to fully advocate on behalf of and educate its broad customer base on the new regulations. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau established new compliance rules for nearly all residential mortgage transactions beginning October 3, 2015.
Attending the ceremony and accepting the awards on behalf of SoftPro were Lisa Ennis, SoftPro software developer, and Sheryl Huffman, SoftPro manager corporate project office.
"Congratulations to SoftPro's outstanding research and development team for earning these distinguished accolades," said Dave Park, SoftPro executive vice president of operation and technology. "The collective efforts of every individual on our team attributed to the successful development and release of SoftPro’s new CFPB compliant releases across all SoftPro platforms more than six months ahead of schedule."
